Parents of Tricker Treaters: Keep Up the Great Work!

Dear Editor:

We had a busy Halloween night this year with trick or treaters increasing every year since Covid.

Every - without exception - trick or treater (preschool through high school) was so polite, always saying “Thank You.”  Not once the entire evening did any child push others out of their way to get to the front of the line to get their treat, and the older kids were so kind to their younger siblings!  One elementary student actually said “No thank you, two is very nice, thank you” when I told him he could have three as he was so kind and “big-brotherly” to his little sister!  And most important, all younger children had adults walking with them keeping a watchful eye on their precious kids.

Parents: “Your kids were amazing! Keep up the great work!  Thank you for raising respectful children!”
