Post Office Drive-Up Mailboxes Are Inconvenient

Dear Editor,

The drive-up mailboxes at the Post Office have been replaced with boxes that cannot be reached from a vehicle, and require one to stop and step out of the vehicle to put mail in the box. This defeats the whole purpose of drive-up convenience. Does anyone know why this happened?
