What’s Going on with New, Drive by Mailboxes at Post Office?

What is going on with the new, drive by, mailboxes at the Post Office?

Not only are the mailboxes too far away to reach from your car, but you can’t drop an envelope in it.  The mailbox has to be opened.  This is very inconvenient and has created quite a traffic jam, as you have to get out of your car to put an envelope in the mailbox.

I also find it very discriminatory, as I am in a wheelchair.  There is no way I can use these mailboxes.  Now what am I supposed to do?  Park my van?  Get in my wheelchair and go inside the post office?  What a joke!
