Re: Robert Thomas’ “Rescind 2nd Amendment”

Dear Editor,
In response to Robert Thomas’ “Rescind 2nd Amendment” on 2/21/24.
I do not think the gun grabbing left will ever get it when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. And to tell you the truth, until Lord forbid they experience a violent criminal act against them, or a out of control overreaching tyrannical government situation, will they understand why the founders of this great nation inserted the 2A, after the 1A. Rescind? Seriously? “....from my cold dead hands” ~ Charlton Heston. Remember history, the Nazis, Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao took the guns....and, well you know the rest. Tackle the real problem, mental illness and criminals having guns. I’ll give Mr. Thomas credit for stating there are law abiding gun owners, he is correct and we we ARE the majority.
