School Leadership Matters
L.K. Monroe is an experienced educational leader and a committed advocate for the best educational outcomes for all students. She has prioritized ensuring that our county’s most vulnerable students and those who serve them in classrooms have the tools to successfully make their way to, in, and through our public schools. In representing one of the most diverse counties in the nation, she has remained focus on what social justice means for so many students and for their chances to achieve and thrive in school and beyond, from robust programs to more opportunities for internships and connections to the STEM fields, to the social and emotional supports that our kids so greatly need. She is a leader with a statewide profile, who able to advocate for Alameda County students and schools at the highest levels of government for funding, support for the ongoing needs of the COVID pandemic and for equity that ensures our students have access to technology and materials needed to enhance their learning during this time of rapid change. This is an important time for public education in our state and it needs the experience and leadership that only L.K. Monroe can bring to the table. Please re-elect L.K. Monroe for Alameda County Superintendent of Schools.
