Searching for Long Lost Friend

Dear Editor,

I am hoping someone in the community can help me reconnect with my childhood friend. I have not been able to find her. Her pre-married name was Susan Warren, and we were such close friends when I lived in Castro Valley in the 1950s.  Her parents’ names were Nick and Marge Warren. She had two sisters. Debbie was the youngest, and Vickie (I think) was the oldest.  Susan and I were both Navy brats.  Our fathers worked at Oak Knoll Hospital and the Presidio.  Susie was a year older, but that didn't matter.  We became fast friends and were together most days during summer.

I went to Marshall Grade School, and we lived at 19208 Center St.  And then tragedy struck. My dad retired from the Navy, and we moved to Washington State, where my father was born.  We would visit California, and they would come to Washington.  The last time I saw Susie was when I was 15 and she was 16.

I am 74 now and surely would love to find her.  I’m hoping someone in Castro Valley might know where she is today. Please email me at pansielady62@gmail.com.
