Specific Plan for Castro Valley Business District

Dear Editor:

The Alameda County Planning Department is revising the specific plan for the business district of Castro Valley. That plan will provide a blueprint for development in our community for the next 10 or more years. The Planning Department and the Castro Valley MAC will be holding a series of meetings over the next few months. The Chamber of Commerce is excited to be part of the process. We will help the County to collect community input, and we will suggest items for consideration. At the end of the process, we will have an excellent plan. Thanks in advance for your help.

–Todd Anglin and Gary Howard, Castro Valley/Eden Area Chamber of Commerce
