Oliver DeBonis
Oliver DeBonis (Vannoy Elementary) is our Athlete of the Week. Along with his acrobatic gymnastics partner, Elise Brazier (Contra Costa Christian), the pair kicked off the season with a silver medal and then took five gold medals, including gold at the state, regional, and national championships. Their routine showcased precision, balance, and the essential trust between teammates, leaving a lasting impression on judges and spectators. While competing against top talent nationwide, Oliver and Elise's synchronized and graceful routine earned them the national gold medal in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June. The pair will continue competing through Minneapolis nationals for the 2024 season.
