RCHS Principal Ben Warner is Now Dr. Ben Warner, PhD

On Tuesday, October 25, Redwood Christian Middle School and High (RCMSHS) School Principal Ben Warner was awarded his doctorate by Columbia International University! Dr. Warner completed his course work and dissertation in a little over two years. His dissertation was titled “ Grow Your Own Administrators " focusing on The Role Principals Play in Leadership Succession Planning at Large, Accredited Christian High Schools.

Dr. Warner graduated from Redwood Christian High School in 1997 and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Christian Heritage College, his Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary. Dr. Warner returned to his alma mater as a Physical Education and Coach in 2002, and was named the RCMSHS Principal in 2016.

Dr. Warner and his wife Amber have three children who attend RCMSHS, and are very active at Redwood Chapel Community Church of Castro Valley.

Dr. Al Hearne, Superintendent of Redwood Christian Schools, stated “Dr. Warner has worked very hard over the past twenty-seven months on his doctorate while continuing to lead our middle school and high school ensuring that our students received a quality, Christ-centered education completing his doctorate while dealing with the challenges of covid. Our entire school community recognize him as a godly leader and are very proud of him.”
