RCHS Announces 2023-24 Homecoming Court

Last Friday night, the Redwood Christian High School Homecoming Celebration was held in the Bruce D. Johnson Gymnasium on the Redwood Christian Middle School and High School Campus. Assistant Principal Dr. Evan Barnhart served as Event Coordinator and Master of Ceremonies announcing the 2023-24 Homecoming Court: Queen Cristiana Ramos and King Jonathan Murray; Senior Princesses Aviana Bezerra and Sarah Collier, and Senior Princes David Barquero and Jacob De Castro; Junior Princess Zanai Robinson and Junior Prince Johan Weldegabriel; Sophomore Princess Isabella Arrazola and Sophomore Prince Josue Putnam; and Freshman Princess Erich Geronimo and Freshman Prince Jonathan Aguilar.
The theme for the evening was “Night at the Carnival” and tacos were provided by the Authentic Taste of Mexico Taco Truck along with churros from A Real Taste of Churro. The evening included a strength testing station and a dunk tank along with carnival games to play for prizes. Redwood Christian parents served in the booths and awarded tickets for winners that could be redeemed for prizes, in addition to raffle giveaways!
Dr. Barnhart stated that “a big thank you to our parents who donated prizes, and parents who helped organize and run the event for the evening. A great time was had by all!”
The 2023-24 Homecoming Ceremonies will be held on Friday, January 19 in the Bruce D. Johnson Gymnasium on the Redwood Christian Middle School and High School campus at 1000 Paseo Grande, San Lorenzo.
Game times are JV Boys at 3:30 p.m.; Varsity Girls 5:00 p.m. and Varsity Boys at 7:30 p.m. following the Homecoming Ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. where Queen Cristiana and King Jonathan and the rest of the Homecoming Court will be formally introduced and celebrated. The community is invited to attend.
