Drunken Domestic Dispute at Golf Course
Sunday, October 22: at 3:46 p.m., Sheriff's deputies arrested a 49-year-old woman from Castro Valley on suspicion of assault on a family member, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. Deputies were called to the Redwood Canyon Golf Course to intervene in an altercation. The woman was detained where she failed her field sobriety test and became confrontational with deputies. She was taken into custody.
Wanted Woman Taken to Jail
Sunday, October 22: at 10:25 a.m., a 40-year-old woman from Castro Valley was arrested as part of a warrant issued for her capture. Deputies served the warrant at a business on Lake Chabot Road near Congress Way. The woman had been previously convicted of grand theft. Deputies took her to Santa Rita Jail.
Violated a Restraining Order
Friday, October 20: at 11:31 a.m., deputies arrested a 20-year-old Castro Valley man suspected of violating a court-issued restraining order. The man was found within 100 yards of a home near the intersection of Page Street and Toledo Way. Deputies took the man into custody.
Family Fight
Friday, October 20: at 2:25 a.m., a 911 call about a loud and aggressive-sounding argument sent deputies to a home on Heyer Avenue near Madison Avenue. There, they arrested a 25-year-old woman from Castro Valley on suspicion of assault on a family member. Deputies took the woman into custody. The victim was treated at the scene.
Wanted for Vandalism, Caught with Drugs
Thursday, October 19: at 12:55 p.m., deputies arrested a 35-year-old man with no permanent residence as part of a warrant issued for his capture. The man had previously been convicted of vandalism. Deputies served the warrant outside of a business on Charlene Way near Redwood Road and found the man also violating a restraining order. He was also found with methamphetamine drugs and related drug paraphernalia in his pockets. Deputies took the man to Santa Rita Jail.
Busted for Breaking and Entering
Wednesday, October 18: at 4:07 p.m., a 60-year-old man with no permanent residence was arrested on suspicion of breaking and entering, possessing stolen property, interfering with a business, and possessing illegal drug paraphernalia. The man was also wanted for a previous public intoxication conviction. Deputies responded to a call about a man breaking into a store at the intersection of Grove Way and Redwood Road. The man was taken to Santa Rita Jail.
Drove Drunk and Over the Limit
Wednesday, October 18: at 1:35 a.m., deputies pulled over and arrested a 27-year-old woman from Castro Valley on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. The woman was traveling on Center Street near Grove Way when deputies stopped her for a traffic violation. The woman failed her field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
Assault and Battery and Damaging Public Property
Monday, October 16: at 1:40 p.m., a 49-year-old woman with no permanent residence was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery as well as damaging public property. Deputies responded to an altercation outside a business on Castro Valley Boulevard near John Drive. There, they detained the woman and took her into custody. The victim was treated at the scene.
