Battle of the Valley

Our Athletes of the Week are the Canyon Middle School and Creekside Middle School Flag Football teams. The Condors beat the Wildcats by a score of 14-8 at the 23rd Annual Battle of the Valley last Friday, February 2, at John Brosnan field at Castro Valley High School Trojan Stadium. The event started with an All-Athletes Parade and a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem by Sara Wilkerson. Spirit Squads from both schools and parents and friends braved the rain to cheer on their teams. The competition is for annual bragging rights, as both teams have performed well this season.
