Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) invites you to join us every Monday in August at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre for our series: Movies at the Morrisson: Japanese Cinema.

Inspired by H.A.R.D.’s Japanese Garden, moviegoers will explore the rich tapestry of Japanese cinema, from timeless classics to contemporary masterpieces, while celebrating the country’s cultural legacy through the lens of its most visionary storytellers. 

The Douglas Morrisson Theatre aims to involve and enlighten the community and is located at 22311 N 3rd Street in Hayward. Before every movie, the film curator will share a brief introduction about the film and director. Admission price is $10; concessions will be available for purchase in the lobby. Join us at 7 PM for one or all of the following dates:
